I’m a visual astronomer really, but do enjoy taking the odd picture. They’re not as good as a lot of the astro images you’ll see on the web, but then its just for my own interest! My observatory currently houses a Celestron CGem equatorial mount on a pillar on which I have a Takahashi FSQ106ED quadruplet refractor or a Coronado Solarmax II 60 BF10 solar telescope. I use a simple Canon EOS110d camera and cable release. For autoguiding I use an Altair Astro starwave 50mm finder guider with a QHY5 camera through PHD software.
